I am a Latinx, Bilingual, (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have earned my Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Florida International University and my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University.
It has been my lifelong goal to help improve the mental health of those willing to seek assistance. My aim is to bridge the gap of mental health services through a sincere approach to treatment in a safe environment that is conducive to your path to betterment. I practice from an inclusive, anti-oppressive and trauma informed lens. Providing individual therapy to adults with over a decade of experience, my specialty areas include anxiety, navigating family of origin experiences, and various life transitions.
I take an integrative approach using ACT, Brainspotting, DBT, mindfulness techniques, and/or strength-based techniques. My goal, in this relationship, is to provide guidance highlighting your strengths that will help you throughout your journey. You are the key to success and motivation within to reach your goals both in a session and outside of the process. I welcome feedback so that you are an integral part throughout this therapeutic relationship. I understand that the person who knows you best - is you. While we work side by side towards your goals I will work with you in a genuine, practical, and non-judgmental manner.
