Do you have any questions?
I am a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Pontifical Catholic University.
As a Latina, I recognize the need for and importance of expressing thoughts, concerns, and feelings in my native language to feel understood. Trust and safety are essential for effective expression. That’s why finding a therapist who is right for you is crucial. In my practice, I offer traditional talk therapy entirely in Spanish. I have an open, eclectic therapeutic style, incorporating approaches based on strengths, self-compassion, and self-acceptance, including Mindfulness techniques, ACT, and CBT. I primarily work from an empowerment-based perspective, honoring continued growth and resilience.
I specialize in working with trauma survivors and individuals facing challenges related to self-esteem, depression, anxiety, emotion management, family conflicts, and interpersonal difficulties.
My goal is to help clients envision the life they deserve and embrace a more authentic and empowered version of themselves. You are the key to success and the internal motivation to achieve your goals both within and outside the session. I welcome feedback to ensure your active involvement in this therapeutic relationship. I understand that the person who knows you best is you. If this resonates with you, please feel free to contact me via email to schedule an intake appointment. It will be a pleasure to assist you in your process.
